Caiff Cynghorwyr lleol eu hethol gan y gymuned i benderfynu ar eu rhan sut y dylai’r cyngor ymgymryd â’i wahanol ddyletswyddau. Maent yn cynrychioli budd y cyhoedd yn ogystal ag unigolion sy’n byw yn y ward y cawsant eu hethol i’w gwasanaethu.
Maent yn cael cyswllt rheolaidd â’r gymuned drwy gyfarfodydd y cyngor, galwadau ffôn a chymorthfeydd. Mae cymorthfeydd yn gyfle i unrhyw un o drigolion y ward fynd i siarad wyneb yn wyneb â’u Cynghorydd ac fe’u cynhelir yn rheolaidd. Cysylltwch â’ch Cynghorydd lleol am fanylion ynghylch eu cymorthfeydd. Os nad ydych yn gwybod pwy yw eich Cynghorydd lleol, cliciwch ar ‘Dod o hyd i’ch Cynghorydd’ isod, teipiwch eich cod post a chliciwch ‘ewch’ a byddwch yn gweld holl fanylion cyswllt eich Aelod lleol. Fel arall dewiswch y ward yr ydych yn byw ynddi a bydd manylion yr Aelod hefyd i’w gweld yno. Cofiwch fodd bynnag fod chwilio yn ôl cod post yn fwy cywir oherwydd ffiniau cyfagos ayyb.
